Nutromics is an Australian MedTech company with a vision to create a world with zero preventable deaths due to the lack of timely molecular-level data. We are developing a Continuous Molecular Monitoring platform technology that can provide clinicians with real-time and continuous data for multiple targets.

 

As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a passionate Communications Associate to assist in the planning and execution of our communications strategy. In this role, you will assist Nutromics’ PR & Comms Lead in developing and executing a PR and content strategy for the firm. You will work closely with the wider Nutromics team to identify newsworthy content, promotional opportunities, and content creation

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other relevant field or practical experience in the same

 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in creating content including social media posts, videos, press releases etc.
  • Graphic design skills will be highly regarded
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to simplify technical information for broader audiences.
  • A strong ability to build relationships from scratch with players in the industry across seniority levels.
  • Experience with collating media databases and pitching articles, podcasts etc.
  • Strong knowledge of concepts such as brand identity, personal branding, brand psychology, consumer psychology, and organic growth.
  • Familiarity with programs such as Canva, Final Cut Pro, Affinity Photo (or similar), Affinity Publisher (or similar), and MailChimp is a must.
  • Must be comfortable with taking on responsibility, working both independently and collaboratively, and with short deadlines.
  • Passion for healthcare is a must!

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with formulating Nutromics’ short-term PR campaigns and long-term PR strategy.
  • Assist in drafting investor communications including presentations, newsletter, press releases etc.
  • Assist in drafting science comms including press releases, social media posts, blog articles etc.
  • Assist in shooting photos and videos, as well as creating graphical content, for Nutromics.
  • Assist with the expansion and maintenance of Nutromics’ website.
  • Assist with tracking the results of PR activities, generating reports, and using the data to make strategic decisions.
  • Work to maintain and expand media contact lists.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and drive strategic collaborations.
